BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
GN: The continuing indoctrination of youth in regards to aligning one’s behavior with the unseen man/god.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
GN: Going to the mall to buy a glass reindeer ornament for my new girlfriend (I was 19?). It was carefully wrapped and packaged. I got on the bus to her house. I got off. I presented her with the present. She opened it, and the reindeer’s glass body had imploded. Legs and hooves, head and antlers. Shattered glass everywhere.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
GN: Requiem For A Dream
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
GN: Rudolph. The other reindeer, the ones that had been there serving Santa for years and years now had to look at that ass daily. And probably, I’m guessing, with Rudolph’s genetic mutation, his shit probably wasn’t smelling too healthy.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
GN: “O Holy Night”

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
ROF: The fact that one can drink and eat with loved ones. Especially while listening to our debut EP, “BLAIR WITCH IN MY BACKYARD.”
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
ROF: Hmm, I guess I’d have to say it was last year. We (REBELS OVER FLAMES) ended up having a private show for just our family and friends. Best thing we could do for our peeps.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
ROF: Jingle All The Way! Hands down.
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
ROF: Turbo Man (Jingle All The Way) just because Arnold Schwarzenegger looked dope in the suit.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
ROF: “Santa’s Coming” by CKY feat. Bam Margera.

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?

BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
CY: One year I was helping my mom cook since she over cooks for every occasion and I thought I’d be nice, so I pulled out her Green Bean Casserole from the over and it dropped all over the kitchen floor… -Mike
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
CY: Hands down, A Christmas Story -Dan
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
CY: Probably Rudolf because he gets the cutest girl deer around. -Mike

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
COTW: My favorite thing about the holiday season is that it’s about GIVING. I always try and do something every year where I can give to a charity in need, because I feel like that is what Christmas is about. I personally don’t need or have room for any presents in my studio apartment, so I would rather family & friends give to a charity of their choice and send me a card of which charity they picked! Last year as a band we did the “Pupsicle Project” with Koalacore Clothing & donated 20% of our merch sales to buying blankets and food for dog shelters. In addition to all the blankets Koalacore sent to shelters around the country, we were able to send off 20 blankets, approx. 50 lbs of food, dental treats, & weatherproof tarps to 3 Midwest dog shelters that were really in need. They were so grateful and put all of it to good use. It really does feel great to help others in need, & I encourage others to try something similar this year!
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
COTW: Best holiday memory… laying on my couch and doing nothing?! Haha!!.. it’s rare that I get a full day off to just hang out, so I cherish the laziness that I allow myself to partake in on Christmas.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
COTW: ELF!!! It should be EVERYBODY’S favorite Christmas movie, it’s so freakin hilarious!!! When it came out on DVD I watched that thing every week for like a year!! 12 years later I still watch it every Christmas!!
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
COTW: The GRINCH!! Maybe I’m biased because I used to work at Mall of America for the holidays, but I hate Christmas music SO MUCH! They start spinning that shit in OCTOBER like excuse me?! I don’t need to hear 9342883 interpretations of Little Drummer Boy during my 10 hour shifts, and the ONLY version of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” that should matter is Mariah Carey’s. I hate all the crazy “holiday cheer” so much that I wrote a song about it, & the fact that America celebrates Christmas for roughly 4 months out of the year like, can we NOT??? A few days is plenty!
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
COTW: “All I Want for Christmas Is You” ONLY the Mariah Carey version. She SLAYS that usually boring song. Anybody that can get me jamming to Christmas music deserves a motherf*ckin gold star.

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
RF: The Food, I love everything about holiday food! Especially pie.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
RF: When I was 10 I got the Calvin and Hobbes complete collection, and read the whole thing that day.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
RF: That weird stop motion Rudolph the red nosed reindeer movie. I haven’t seen it in such a long time, but I’m still really not sure what that abominable snow man thing had to do with it being too snowy for Santa to fly on Christmas, why did there need to be two conflicts?
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
RF: Any Reindeer, so I could fly. Not Rudolph though, the glowing nose thing seems like it could be cancerous or something.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
RF: “Wonderful Christmas Time” by Paul McCartney. I love that song, but I do have to say it sounds like he spent like six and a half minutes to record it, still a huge fan of Sir McCartney though!
I’d like to go on record saying “Baby it’s Cold Outside” is a VERY creepy song. I’m not really sure even the context of the time period it was created can justify it.

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
SH: I have great memories of Christmas with my family so there’s a big nostalgia vibe about it. Beyond that, the music industry seems to shut down so it’s a time to get back to normal and reflect for a bit, usually until the Namm show and then touring kicks back up again.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
SH: It’s probably back when Christmas was still magical, when everyone in the family was a still alive and life seemed simpler. Basically being a kid.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
SH: Wow, it’s either Christmas Vacation or A Christmas Story, both classics. Elf is a little newer but I think that’s a great one too.
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
SH: Probably the Heat Miser from “The Year Without a Santa Clause.” He has his own world, an amazing song and dance and minions running around in his image. He proclaims “I’m too much.” I love that arrogance, that’s how you own a stage and make an entrance. Hell, we used to use cuts from his song in our intro music.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
SH: I’m not a super religious guy but there’s something about “Oh Holy Night” that’s just haunting. Especially if its done with great harmonies and vocal layers. That one gets me every time.

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
NA: It’s kind of cliche, but the spirit of giving. It’s the one time of year that people tend to focus on the needs/wants of others. From donating time or goods to a local shelter, to finding the perfect gift for a loved one. It’s great to see people put their own desires on the backburner for someone else’s happiness.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
NA: My personal best memory (Shane): My son really wanted an Xbox for Christmas, but he refused to put it on his list, because he knew it was expensive, and didn’t want us to spend that much. That within itself was sweet enough, so of course we got him the xbox. But we also took the xbox out, filled the box with socks, and then wrapped it. So when he opened it Christmas morning, he was so excited, and then he noticed the seal was cut. He opened the box to find socks, and what was his reaction? Not sadness, not anger, just gratitude. He said, “Well, I did ask for socks, because I needed more. Thanks everyone.” It broke my heart. Then I told him to go put some stuff away downstairs (where his Xbox was already setup and ready to play), while we waited upstairs for him to return. He came back up with the biggest smile on his face. As a parent, you’re always concerned about how you’re raising your kids, but that was a moment of pure “He’s a great kid” reassurance. I’ll never forget it.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
NA: Does Batman Returns count? Haha. If not, definitely Elf.
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
NA: Kevin, from Home Alone, for the killer gadgets and traps. How much fun would that be???
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
NA: The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting) is probably the all-time favorite. It’s timeless.

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
YIR: My favorite thing about the holiday season is definitely the positive vibes that come along with it. Everyone is just in a better mood and a little positivity goes a long way.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
YIR: My favorite holiday memory is probably when Santa brought me my first real electric guitar and amp. I was so stoked!
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
YIR: My favorite Christmas movie is definitely Jingle All The Way only because, at the time, trying to find a “Turbo Man” action figure was such an adventure they made an entire movie about it. Where as if that happened today, he could just order it online and that’d be the end of it. Haha.
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
YIR: If I got to be any holiday character, i’d probably be Buddy the Elf from the movie Elf. He’s just always such an upbeat positive dude & always on a mission to spread positive vibes to everyone. plus, he really loves sugar and so do I. Haha.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
YIR: My favorite “traditional” Christmas song is probably “Feliz Navidad” and my favorite “non-traditional” Christmas song is “Right Where You Want Me to Be” by A Day To Remember!

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
JW: My favorite thing about the holiday season is the scenery. I love watching all of the pretty lights as the snow flutters down and piles onto the trees. When you’re driving through the wooded areas in Staten Island when it snows, the trees look so beautiful.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
JW: In my family, we have a tradition where we go to my aunts house in Jersey for Christmas Eve. This is one of the best times of the year for me because I get to see family I haven’t seen since like the last year. We always sit on the couch and watch a Christmas story on repeat for HOURS.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
JW: My favorite Christmas movie is definitely Elf. When I was younger I would watch the movie every single night. By now I could probably recite the whole script by memory.
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
JW: I would be Santa. I choose Santa because I would be able to bring joy to many children. And I’d get so many free cookies when I drop off presents.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
JW: I don’t know if it really know if it counts as a Christmas song but I love “Oh ms.believer” by Twenty One Pilots. It’s a really lovely song with jingle bells in the backround as they are describing a snowy winter place. But if I need a choose a real Christmas song I would choose “Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande.

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
DE: Little dogs in little sweaters.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
DE: My family is pretty spread out now, but we used to perform the nativity scene with all our cousins every year. I always got to be the angel (read: I insisted on always being the angel). I took it pretty seriously.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
DE: Not technically a movie, but it has to be “Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean” (“Oooo look Teddy, Christmas Socks!”)
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
DE: Buddy the Elf, obviously. Because who doesn’t want to sing loudly everywhere they go without caring what other people think?
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
DE: Lydia Liza and Josiah Lemanski recently reinvented the lyrics to “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” so that the man is concerned with getting the woman home safely, rather than trying to convince her to stay. It highlights the critical role of consent in sexual relationships – Definitely my new favourite Christmas song, and hopefully a new classic!

BS: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
BB: I guess it’s seeing old pals. Going back to the hometown you grew up in catching up with people. And the food. My family makes dank food.
BS: What is the best holiday memory you have?
BB: It’s a recent one. My mom recently moved to Boston. We would always have Christmas at her house down the south shore of Massachusetts. But since she moved to a little apartment we couldn’t have it there. So we walked around the city on Christmas Eve last year and went bar hopping.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas movie?
BB: Easy. A Christmas story. “You’ll shoot your eye out kid”
BS: If you could be any holiday character who would it be and why?
BB: Yukon Cornelius. He seems like a bad ass.
BS: What is your favorite Christmas song?
BB: Darlene Love’s “Christmas (baby please come)”. Songs beautiful.
