Los Angeles based alt rock artist 44Blonde has been carving out their spot in the scene. Bringing a lot of different influences in to their style they have been steadily putting out music. BareBones Ent got the chance to sit down with 44Blonde and talk about their music, creating, and the future. Take a walk with us below and see what all they had to say.

BBE: How would you best describe your music for new listeners?
44Blonde: I would best describe my music as a cross between pop, rock, and alternative music.

BBE: What do you think it is about your project that helps you stand out?
44Blonde: I believe the people I have surrounded myself with helps me stand out as well as the ability I have been given to work with such talent, which gives me the opportunity to come up with a perhaps “unconventional” genre mixes that grabs attention.

BBE: We can all at times keep finding something we want to change when creating something new. When creating music, when do you know the song is truly done and ready?
44Blonde: This is hard to explain, I really feel like a song is done when I feel that no more hands should touch it and risk altering the vibe or the energy of the song. The best way I can describe it is when it’s come to a place where anything more or less is put forth it becomes a completely different feeling is when I know it is ready.

BBE: You recently released a song, “Like You Love Me”, what was the creation process like for that song?
44Blonde: This song I got sent a loop in which the hook of the song sounded like, my friend and cowriter Marino and I were in the car on the way to the studio and turned on the loop and instantly started singing what ended up being the chorus. Once we got to the studio the song was done within a matter of hours. I then went on to do a music video for the song which captured and portrayed the song’s message well.

BBE:  How have fans reacted to it?
44Blonde: The people who I have had the opportunity to hear feedback from regarding “Like You Love Me”, have all seemed to be very much enthusiastic about it and enjoy it a lot.

BBE:  I want to also touch on the video. It looked like just a blast to be in, and it really fed through the screen. What was it like filming the video?
44Blonde: Filming the video was a great time, we stayed up all night capturing different shots and everyone who was involved in the video who I did not know all that well prior I can now consider friends which is always a cool thing when it comes to being creative and free with other people.

BBE: What is something that might be difficult when filming music videos that fans might not know?
44Blonde: The most difficult parts I found were finding the right people to make it come to life and making sure that the message behind the song is captured but not to the extent as to where the viewer loses their imagination or relatability to the song.

BBE: Is this song part of a larger release? What can you tell us about that?
44Blonde: There is a lot more to come in 2023, everyone will just have to watch and see as each song will start to tell a story of a bigger picture.

BBE: What all is next for you?
44Blonde: I plan to really just focus on getting as much music out to the public as I can to where hopefully everyone can find even just one song to enjoy all the time.

BBE: What is the best way for fans to stay up-to-date and connect with you?
44Blonde: You can stay connected with me on whatever social media (Instagram/Twitter/Facebook) or streaming platform you desire by searching 44Blonde.
