As summer is officially over we have been scouring the web for the hottest summer albums! Take a look below and see what we felt were some of the hottest albums released and where you can pick them up! Keep an eye out as we have listed one Can’t Miss Album for the summer releases and the earlier releases. The albums are listed in order of release date from most recent to earliest.

An awesome pure rock album, with a great classic rock vibe! Makes sense coming from legendary guitarist Bob Kulick who has worked with the likes of KISS, W.A.S.P, and many more. If you’re a fan of good ole’ rock music, go out and scratch that itch with Skeletons in the Closet. The album brings you good songs, many guests, and (needless to say) awesome guitar riffs!

Ace Frehley – Anomaly (Deluxe) (Sept. 8) [usr=4]

This is such a fun album. I never heard the original release, so this re-issue was a real treat. I’m not sure of the exact wording I want to use, but it felt like a cool funky album. The songs can really get you in a groove and jamming along before you even realize it. If you are looking for a good rock album, catch up with an old member of KISS, or hear something different definitely pick up the Deluxe re-issue of Anomaly!

Can’t Miss Album: Amuse – Life Sucks EP (Aug. 4) [usr=5]

Man, this is a really enjoyable pop punk EP! As soon as it starts you are moving along to the music. Everything from the music, lyrics, and vocals are spot on and give this EP a great vibe. If you dig pop punk and great songs this is the EP to get!

This is such a fun pop rock album, and to think it is only this band’s debut album! The album just makes you want to move with it’s energetic music and vocals. If you’re looking to have a good time or just get up and move make sure to give this album a listen.

Kimberly Freeman – Secret Lullaby (July 1) [usr=4]

Do you love One-Eyed Doll or are they just a little too heavy for you? Either way you need to give Kimberly Freeman’s solo effort a listen. It is greatly different from her work with One-Eyed Doll, so don’t expect the same sound. She brings hauntingly gorgeous vocals to all of the tracks on this album that left us breathless. The album throughout is done so beautifully and artistically it’s worth checking out!

Separations is bringing something special to the scene with this latest release! They offer listeners aggressive screams and catchy choruses. This band needs to be added to your playlist right away; you won’t regret it. You’ll be headbanging and singing a long in no time!

Moscow – Queen of Sin EP (June 2) [usr=5]

Love this EP! Moscow put out a fantastic EP that brings such an intensity to power through your day. Can’t count how many times I have listened to this EP already. Moscow brings you powerful vocals, stinging guitar riffs, and a hard drum groove to get you into the songs. Not a bad thing to say about the EP, aside from wanting more.

The Nearly Deads are an exciting band that know how to pack a punch. Their new EP, Revenge of The Nearly Deads does just that too! The EP features catchy lyrics, powerful vocals, and riffs. We have been high on this band for awhile and they just now how to deliver awesome tunes!

This album is truly something special. From start to finish Blacktop Mojo brought the magic. This is easily one of my favorite albums of 2017 so far and a recommended “Must Have” for music lovers. Jump on with this band before all of your friends are telling you about them.
