Chris Roberts is ushering in an exciting new era in his musical journey with Sill Crow. He is back making the music he loves and is ready to show what he has in store for everyone. Take a look at what all Chris had to say when he chatted with BareBones Ent.

BBE: How would you best describe your music to new listeners?
CR: Alternative Rock with a subtle blues and jazz influence.
BBE: How do you feel that helps you to stand out? or What do you feel makes you stand out?
CR: I think that a lot of music today doesn’t have much soul, but this music is written with classic rock styling in mind and combines classical elements like jazz with blues topped by gritty soulful vocals which I think helps us stand out.
BBE: Is this always the type of music you wanted to make or has that changed over time?
CR: This has always been the style of music I wanted to make but I wrote it in the background while creating other styles of music with my first project (Pareidol), which was a more of a progressive rock band.
BBE: What has you most excited about this current era in your music?
CR: It’s genuinely me and all the music is written by me and built out with whatever musicians I’m playing with at the time.
BBE: We’ve seen some live performances of Sill Crow. What would you tell fans to expect from a Sill Crow show?
CR: I would tell them to expect blues in its heaviest form and raw emotion conveyed by anthemic lead guitar work and gritty soulful vocals.
BBE: Are you currently planning out some more shows?
CR: We have a show coming up at Cubby Bear in Chicago with Sparrow Blue out of Canada and a couple other acts that will be on 3/25. We also have a show scheduled in Charleston SC with a band local to that music scene at Tiki Taco 4/24.
BBE: What is the best way for fans to stay up to date?
CR: Visit SillCrow.com for all upcoming events and news. Or follow us on YT, FB, and IG.
BBE: Anything else you would like to add?
CR: We are releasing a new single entitled “Fall For You” on Feb 15 on all streaming platforms.
